End of Season

It was a fun but largely uneventful ski season at Masthope this year. No major injuries (maybe not even any minor ones). We had fun skiing. Cameron is now officially a madman on the slopes. He actually said the other day that "it's all about going fast."

The house is fine, the neighbors are fine. The new lift set-up at the mountain is great. With the twin double chairs running, we never waited more than a few minutes at the bottom.

Spent a lot of time on the highways of Pennsylvania today. PA is my favorite state. We left home at 8:15 to drive to Lewisburg to see our Nephew Jake Clarke's Bucknell Bison play lacrosse against The Ohio State University. 3.5 hr drive to Lewisburg PA. Out there in God's Country. The Bison prevailed, which you would have known in real time if you were following BucknellLax on Twitter.

Post-game festivities at Jake's house were fun, thanks to Sue and Pat and Jake's teammates'/housemates' parents.

Then the drive to Lackawaxen took us up a highway we'd not traveled before, I-81 from I-80 to I-84. Interesting piece of road. Beautiful scenery, and tons of history. Wilkes-Barre / Scranton area is fascinating to me -- what goes on there? I love PA -- still want to pay a visit to every tavern in the state.

We may ski here in the morning; will head home mid-day, as the girls have rehearsal for their production of The Wizzard of Oz.

That's all for now.
